When we arrived at check in we were told that we could have an upgrade but that it would cost $100 extra. Thinking that we might get the same type of suite, because the picture and description in the email was definitely nice we thought it was worth the $48 extra per nite. This time we were offered a chance to upgrade as well, so we did. We have stayed at this hotel before and payed $50 extra for a huge suite overlooking the Gulf.
